Yes, there are many threads of inquiry here! I asked my wife and kids to find a spirit animal which led to some good discussions about the purpose of the spirit animals but also some interesting discussions about why one animal may be a stronger connection than another. In general, my wife and I enjoyed and got more out of the contemplation than the young adults did, but it was a good exercise.
